FlexyWood moldings have all the properties of wood and, at normal room temperature, can be treated like regular wood: they can be sanded, painted, stained, cut, drilled, or distressed. But when heated, the moldings bend and stretch. This allows you to adapt them to any furniture shape. Once cooled, they will retain the shape you've given them.

You can use any wood glue in combination with FlexyWood. Wood glue is inexpensive, easy to apply and clean up, and provides a strong bond. It is recommended not to use other types of glue, as they tend to be messy, dry too quickly, or can leave unsightly stains.

To heat your FlexyWood molding, you have several options. Most people use a hairdryer because it's easy to find at home and works well. If you want to speed things up, a heat gun is recommended. Since the heat is more intense, you should move it around the molding to ensure even heating. Once it's hot enough to shape, apply the molding to furniture, doors, windows, or any other object you wish to decorate. Let it cool, and you're ready to finish it however you like!
