How to apply Black Chalk Paint™ Wax:

1. First seal with Clear Wax – apply a coat of Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax and let dry for 1 hour
2. Apply the Black Wax – use a Wax Brush and work in small areas
3. Work on textures and details – push the wax into brushstrokes, moldings, and carvings
4. Remove the excess – with a clean cloth, remove the wax from the flat surfaces
5. Control the intensity – more wax = darker finish, less wax = subtle effect
6. Seal with Clear Wax (optional) – apply a final coat of Clear Wax to soften the effect

Black Wax Techniques:

Subtle dark finish: Apply a small amount and remove almost all of it, leaving only textures.

Intense dark finish: Apply liberally to dramatically darken the entire surface.

Black wash effect: Mix Black Wax with Clear Wax for a soft dark gray tone.

Highlight brushstrokes: Apply only to brush marks to create elegant visual texture.
