How to apply Black Chalk Paint™ Wax:

1. Seal first with Clear Wax – apply a coat of Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax and let it dry for 1 hour
2. Apply the Black Wax – use a Wax Brush and work in small areas
3. Work into textures and details – push the wax into brushstrokes, moldings, and carvings
4. Remove the excess – use a clean cloth to remove wax from flat surfaces
5. Control the intensity – more wax = darker finish, less wax = subtle effect
6. Seal with Clear Wax (optional) – apply a final coat of Clear Wax to soften the effect

Techniques with Black Wax:

Subtle dark finish: Apply a small amount and remove almost all of it, leaving wax only in the textures.

Intense dark finish: Apply generously to darken the entire surface dramatically.

Blackwashed effect: Mix Black Wax with Clear Wax for a soft dark gray tone.
